MBB Pregame Chapel - Play Free

I am not here to entertain you.

I am not here so that you come back next week so I can tell someone how many people are here.

I am here to share with you that God loves you and I love you.

I am your friend and I am here to serve you.

Called by God and sent by God for you.

I love you and I care about you.

I want you to know God and have a relationship with God.

I can disciple you if you even know what that means. If you don’t. Ask me.  I can meet with you one on one to share with you what the Bible says.

I can encourage you, help you read the Bible, help you understand the Bible, help you in your life, lead you through the 52 day challenge.

This is for you. Not for me. I enjoy this and love what I do. But it is for you. Invite someone that also needs this. Commit to this for you.

People who matter don’t mind

People who mind don’t matter

We need each other.

1. Hebrews 10:24–25 — Don’t Stop Meeting Together

(KJV)

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Main point: God doesn’t just encourage believers to gather; He instructs us not to neglect meeting together.

Why do you think God tells us to meet together instead of practicing our faith entirely on our own?

2. Proverbs 27:17 — Iron Sharpens Iron

(KJV)

“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”

Main point: Other believers help us become stronger, wiser, and more faithful.

Who in your life challenges you to become a better follower of Christ?

3. Matthew 18:20 — Jesus Is With Us

(KJV)

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

Main point: Jesus promises His presence when believers gather in His name. In context, this verse particularly concerns the church coming together in agreement and accountability.

What difference does it make when people gather specifically to honor Jesus?

4. Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 — Two Are Better Than One

(KJV)

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.”

Main point: We need people who will help us when life gets difficult.

Why is it dangerous to go through difficult seasons of life alone?

6. Galatians 6:2 — Carry Each Other’s Burdens

(KJV)

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”

Main point: Christian fellowship means helping others carry life’s struggles.

How can you help carry someone’s burden if you never spend time with them?

7. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 — Encourage One Another

(KJV)

“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.”

Main point: God calls believers to build each other up rather than tear each other down.

Discussion question: When was the last time another believer encouraged you when you needed it?

9. James 5:16 — Confess and Pray Together

(KJV)

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Main point: Fellowship provides opportunities for honesty, accountability, prayer, and healing.

Discussion question: Why is it sometimes easier to hide our struggles than to share them with another believer?

constantly hiding who we really are?

15. Psalm 133:1 — The Beauty of Unity

(KJV)

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Main point: God values unity among His people.

Discussion question: What’s the difference between being together physically and actually being united spiritually?
